In 2000 we sailed down the west coast of the North Island to Nelson. Polly and John met us in Nelson after John's 19th trip to the South Pole. We left our schooner in Nelson to go kayaking and hiking along the Able Tasman Track. Here we are loading our kayaks at the start of our 5-day adventure.
